I made a comp about Steven Seagal.....enjoy!;-)
aikido is an art of piece .. he got kicked out from the HUMBO-DUJO JAPAN coz he uses KI in all of his moves .. which took him as far as it goes from understanding what aikido is
By aikido sensei 1172962111umm at 1st i think u mean "peace" and HUMBO-DOJO JAPAN.
and second yeah your right... thats not the aikido way. but its a good way for people like me who have high andrenaline.
Aikido master, keeps the budo in Aikido, not so watered down.
Great Buddhist.
Nice compilation.
Steven Segal is my inspiration, thanks to his movies I got introduce to Aikido. Someday I'll fight like him.

As a martial artist myself (taekwondo and aikido) I won't take anything away from Uncle Chuck. He is good, but aikido is based entirely on uke's force. It would violate the laws of physics if Norris defeated Seagal. He is a 7th dan and that is no small feat in aikido, and Norris' style is based on force. I'm just sayin'. . . .
By rjice 1247816836I am too old for this nice stuff. My son started his lesson at age of 7. Hope he can do it as good.
By Mr Kool 1183390820every one of his attackers shown here is trained too!!! also!!! trained to go with the flow of his moves. If they were truly attacking him it would not be so easy fo him to look so cool. Holly wood heros would have had a much tuffer time looking so cool in a vietnam jungle getting blind sided by crafty little critters coming from anywhere and everywhere. He would need to dispose of the cool and just stay alive.
By floginsnogin 1145112891The fact is there is a lot going on there that an observer doesn't notice. In aikido kata, the attacker (uke) does "go with the flow" as nage executes the technique, however that is not to say that in randori (which is what Seagall is doing in the video) which is freestyle sparring nage (Seagall in this case) is using wrist locks, joint twisting, along with the redirection of uke's force. Believe me, this stuff is real. I am not a little guy and I've studied martial arts since I was a kid (i'm 52 now.) I have been on the mat with more than one aikido master (I am no where close to being a master!) and they have tossed me around the mat like a rag doll. Judo AND aikido come from juijitsu and all three are used to train military and law enforcement. Don't underestimate it--Seagall just makes it look easy.
By rjice 1247817921qoute by DiegokU " Yes Seagal is good in films. Aikido is good in dojos only. "
Then I dont think you know the effect of martial art Aikido...
It is highly effective sowell in dojo as on the street.
As is Krav Maga.
So i would not be so quick in judging DiegoKu...
Hello cinderster - Pusekatt
Had to be said!!!
DiegokU - three words - Choice - Perception - Interpritation - limited in yr capacity to remark on Martial Arts is my Interpritation of you , nothing personal but try some internal arts , often i hear people remark on his films but that just tells me they don't understand the meaning of Martial Arts in its entirity.
If you read his Bio, you will see that he has spent several years working for the CIA, and also helping the resistance movement in Tibet. He is also the first Westerner to open his own Martial Art School in Japan.
He became an actor by "accident" as a trainer for action film actors who encouraged him to try it out. He is still Sean Connery's favourite trainer, even though he broke Connery's wrist... Which brings us to Aikido: Aikido is non-competative, and not a sport, because it is too dangerous. Aikido will not pervert the art by holding back, because of something so meaningless as a show of who's best. This is why e.g. Kung Fu people often lose in things like Fight Club. They hold back, because the purpose is not to kill people. And if Martial Artists absolutely want to compete, - are they really then body-and-mind attuned to their Traditions? Martial Arts as a spiritual and mental dicipline should really remove the individual's need to prove themselves all the time.
