Jesus was not born on December 25 and that is not stated anywhere in scripture, in fact he was born during the summer. The Catholic church ordained Dec 25 for the same reason that they adhere to a number of other pagan precepts including Easter and Sunday worship simply because Catholicism is an attempt to combine all religions, and they did this by applying pagan dates to Christian events.
The word "Catholic" means "Universal".

I agree with scoobet and freefalling58. Catholics also came up with sundays as day of worship. The bible states that the 7th day is a day of worship. Which means that is Saturday. Saturday is the 7th day and Sunday is the first. And for those who do believe in God and the word of God, would know that God is "all knowing", so he knew that in our day and time, worship on the 7th day would fall on a Saturday for us. So why other denominations havent caught on and corrected this, I still dont know why. Anyways, just food for thought. I dont think you should have your video banned. My God gives all humanity the right to chose, so you have that right to feel this way.

The bible doesn't say the date when Christ was born, it does say that sheperds were out watching sheep in the feilds. The would not be doing this in the winter. A lot of scholars agree that it was probably in the fall. The pagan observence of the winter soltice was adopted later by the Roman Catholics to get pagans to join up to the church.
