What if...
you turned the lights off? Would the sound quality be any better?

  Fluorescent lights flicker at 60 Hz and will mess up the quality. Yes, dark will make things better. Good luck.

Great job, and what if....
how about voice quality? will it work with any laser source? I like the large electric effect on your back, could you transmit data this way? for example using the 4 wires needed on a network cable, to transmit your data by laser, maybe with 4 lasers by side, any idea how to do this?

  This is a basic principal in optical data transmission through fiber optics. However this is not the BEST laser for this purpose. However it is a similar process. Glad you enjoyed it.
