    It's a fishing cat, they hunt fish by diving into rivers and streams from the bank, by the looks of the photos it's owners give it a live fish in the bath every now and then. Wild cats shouldn't really be kept as pets even though the idea seems cool, it conflicts with their instincts and they'll also spray and scentmark all over your house, you can get domestic cats of a similar size called Maine c**ns which are much better companions!

      of an animal doesn't happen in one generation. It has to be bred into a species over a series of generations. You can't make a wild animal tame. They will always have some of their wild tendencies, even if they become accustomed and amicable toward humans.

      Look, I think it's a great pleasure for a cat and for a family to catch a fish in the bath at home without any interruption. Unbelievable but real thing. It's clear that only slightly crazy people can live with a fishing cat or any other dangerous wild animal at home. What do you think?

    the size of a dog. I'd be afraid of it suddenly reverting to it's natural instincts and ripping me to shreds... I'm a little wary of keeping wild animals in the house. I used to have a pet raccoon that was really sweet as a baby but became quite mean as an adult.

      My grandmother was raised in Indonesia, where she had 17 pet monkeys (lived as a daughter of a rich plantation owner until she was captured by the Japanese in WWII)... she told me how, as the monkeys aged, they would become mean, attacking people and throwing things at them from the trees... I hope your cat doesn't get mean as it ages!

  • Lol, feather dusters and down filled pil...

    A little hard to keep a clean house with this cat but I used to have an American Foxhound so I can understand your side of it. The one thing that I would like to mention is that when taking pictures see if you can avoid using your flash. These cats are used to waiting in the shade by the shore or hunting at night. Bright light is hard on their eyes.
