In 1970, Brazil was champion with six winnings in six matches, an achievement which had not been seen before (Uruguay, in 1930, and Italy, in 1938, also won all their matches, but there were only 4 rounds till the championship) and was only outdone by Brazil itself in the 2002 World Cup, when the team won all seven matches.
For many around the world this was the best brazilian team ever! Having enchanted the world, this team become champion.

      France won them, however you want to see it. The score at full time in the semis and quarters if it's a draw is not the score that counts in any way, you know that. They won eventually - thus France advanced in the tournament as winners from both of those games, and both Paraguay and Italy lost.

      extra time (golden goal) and penalties are used in case of a tie, to avoid a match ending in a tie, in which case a replay is needed (like in the early days of the world cup). win/draw/loss is always determined after 90 mins, what happens afterwards is like a TIE break in tennis.

      we all know that world cup was rigged. France had to win only cuz they were playing in France. What did they do in 2002, 3 and out. They barely passed the first round in 2006 and were fortunate to play vs. a Spanish team who always chokes in elimination games and a brazilian team who did not play his game. Ultimately, we know the cup has to stay in Europe. Finally, Brazil is the only team to win a cup in Europe. What European country has one the cup in other continents, none!!!!
