That's amazing! I'm gonna try that at home!
Oh and by the way it's not surface tension as other people think. It's the molecular order and polarity of the water molercules. If it was surface tension, there wouldn't have been a delay after the soap was added.

- I thought...
  it was partially with surface tension, which is why the paperclip floated in the first place. That's why you had to have the dome.
  
  Whatever the reason is though...its how those spiders that float on the top of the water stay up. I vote we all dump little drops of soap whenever we see a bunch of them!
