Quick, easy and cheap way to make a USB laptop LED light. I made this one in about 20 minutes with spare parts. Great for presentation or just night time surfing.

  • what kind of bulb

    just wondering what type of LED light you used. ive tried doing this myself and the bulb burns out quickly. i need to find a bulb that can handle the 5 volts from the usb port. know where i can find one by chance? or what resistor to use?

  • what works best

    for a long length of shrink tubing is to use a toaster and carefully heat it above or inside the slot if you can find a way to get it all into there without touching the elements or insides.
