It is a luck that almost 90 % of the audiences left the race after a break, thinking that the show (!) is over..

not too long ago drag strips in the US didnt have guardrails. ever hear of yellow river, georgia? mid 60's there were several killed when a funny car went into the crowd. even now theres a track in arkansas that has no guardrails, just chain link fence to keep people from wondering onto the track.

Security guards (which this day was in charge Turkish army) try to hold people 300 meters far from edge of the race road. But people didn't obey this order... So, you can see what happened after all... This is not only stupidity... Then, Turkish law makers accuse to race draver, who made the crash...

Its hard to belive any of these people survived after such hit...
its hurt to watch!
