The Evo VIII clearly outstripped the other cars by a long shot, and on another occasion, Clarkson in an Evo VIII beat James May in a Murcielago on their test track. Yet the Evo VIII is still ranked uncool, along with the Imprezza.

I think he only kept his Ford GT cuz he was so infatuated by it, even though it guzzled 4 miles/gallon, and Richard Hammond was taking the mickey out of him for it. Anyway, he traded his GT in and got a Gallardo Spyder.

It's a well known fact that Top Gear favours gas-guzzling, high bhp muscles and exotics, so they don't really give imports the due credit. They (Clarkson especially) seem to be in denial about imports, even when the Evo clearly outran the other two by a long shot, and on another occasion, the Clarkson in an Evo VIII beat James May (a British Touring Car Championship driver) in a Lamborghini Murcielago on their test track. Yet they still rank the Evo VIII as uncool.

I think the real reason why he stuck with his Ford GT was because he was so infatuated by it, even though it guzzled an insane 4 miles/gallon, which means a pound a mile and max distance of 75 miles (distance of Clarkson's house from the Top Gear office is 76 miles), and cuz Richard Hammond was taking the mickey out of him because of that. Anyway, he traded his Ford in and got a Gallardo Spyder.

is the new 950 hp Konneggsegg. The second is the Bugatti Veyron at 1001 hp. This is the fastest times not the biggest hp genious.

And as i was saying before you shouted out that US was second best, Find me a stock production European car that can out handle, on the track, a Saleen S7 Twin Turbo. Faster around a track than a Ferrari or Lambo or Zonda or Koneggsegg and dear God dont tell me you think the Veyron can out handle the saleen. The S7 TT was built for the track and then made street legal. I just think the poor europeans are having a really hard time trying to swallow the fact that America can now compete in the big league as far as handling goes. Sorry guys but your lotus's and porsche's just dont seem to but it anymore. SVT Cobras cant handle worth a $#! . I owned one. They have the crappiest IRS in the world. As much as i like mustangs and hate rice burners an EVO would violate an SVT cobra on a track. Too bad you never will get the chance to drive either.

These cars on this video are (comparitively) real sports cars. Detroit (still) does not know how to make real sports cars. Americans think all you need is lots of HP and they worry about nothing else.

I think the Mustang's (or Vette, or Viper, etc ) wheels would pop off if you tried to get it as sideways as those cars at that speed.

I don't want his job. Yesterday I saw a guy on TV, who is the one of the Ferrari test drivers. He drives 6-8 Ferraris at only one day and is paid for that. This is wat I call a JOB =)
