      You need to ignite the strongest fume, it will burn it back to the wick. If you are blowing out the candle, you blow the fumes away from you. It is easier to place something over it to burn out the candle. I used a spoon. It will also work using a match, but the match will burn out fast, so becareful not to burn your fingers.
