    Once you put the SLR SLK combo together it probably cost the same as an original Enzo anyway - and I know which one looks, sounds and performs better... despite this "road test".
    If you put the Enzo engine in a porsche boxster it would have the same effect.

    In a straight line it seems that the Mercedes has the edge but then with an SLR engine in it and a car as small as it is it doesn't really surprise me. However put them on a track and we'll see who comes in 2nd! The Enzo was designed with this in mind. I have seem lots Mercedes road tests and although they are lovely cars particularly the AMG versions, they don't handle so well around a track and certainly can't compete with Ferrari or Porsche.

    Alright. The little silver benz is an SLK55, which is a tiny little bugger weighing somwhere around 3200lbs. The engine currently residing under the hood is the SLR Mclaren engine. It is a supercharged six point somthing litre V8 with 617bhp sae net. The SLR McLaren is actually a british car (Basicly) with a mercedes benz engine in it.

      i would choose that SLK with the SLR engine over the enzo in a heartbeat. why? because there is only one of those and 400 ... no wait, now 399 enzos.

      also the SLK could also be a drivers car whereas you wouldnt want to drive 3-4 hours in an enzo.

      man, this is an SLK, it is not an SLR. but it has an SLR engine.
      the SLR car has a different body. as stated in the movie in the beining, SLK body, but with SLR engine. so, it is actually much much lighter than the Enzo, MUCH LIGHTER with a really strong engine.
