When I had to kick the side of my computer to get the hard drive to start up (it was only a 1 yr old Maxtor), I knew it was time to clone it as soon as I could.
I used my Copy Commander 9 Program to make the clone of my old drive on a bigger WD one. Then I decided to back up my wife's computer by cloning her hard drive to another too. Here is how I did it.
If your hard drive is over 3 years old,you may consider doing this too and get a bigger hard drive at the same time.
