- What is wrong with everyone?
Why is it that every little thing has to be turned into an argument over where people come from and bleep bleep you and bleep bleep this and that? Too many people on here have too many issues to deal with that obviously has nothing to do with anything on metacafe. Try posting these boorish comments at something like a site where people simply go to grouch or call each other names over the most rivial of things. just my opinion anyway.

I could not find any option to hide comments by default, since majority of comments are insulting and depressing, but I found a way to do it using Registry Editor.

To disable being depressed by stupid comments do this:
1) Shut down MetaCafe (Exit)
2) Run Regedit (Start>Run> type Regedit)
3) Browse to HKEY CURRENT USER \Software \MetaCafe \UsersAccount \###### \Display
The ###### represents different useraccount numbers, I only have one.
4) Doubleclick on ShowComments and change the value to 0
5) Exit Regedit, start MetaCafe again and be a much happier user like I am.
You can still expand the comments to stress yourself out by clicking the Show Comments, tho I don't recommend it, this is the last comment you should read.
After you disable them, be sure to add this advice into comments of all videos with offensive comments. About 95% percent of the videos.763602 - 1

He closed his eyes while he was running and thought the pool was closer than it appeared. He is obviously learning to swim because he is wearing floaties. He's probably a little afraid of getting water in his eyes.

the kid was blocking his nose, therefore, his sight was hindered somewhat... i think when he saw water over the top of his hand, his brain tricked him into thinking he was at the waters edge... thats what im thinkin'.

Comments are so bad I don't bother reading them but this one caught my eye as I was rubing the other one cause i got metacafe itch in them from streing at the screen for too long.
