    No doubt this splitter is slower than electric or engine driven hydraulic or screw systems but it is quiet, uses no fuel except for a good english breakfast and provides stimulating rep exercise along with a massive saving on U.K. rip off heating costs. We save around £500 a year by heating our home with a wood buring heater, and cook spuds in the ash pan in half the time it takes in the oven, which taste much better due to the intense heat

  • I Don't sell these BTW.

    I have had some logs that you simply can't cut with an axe, in fact I had 2 x lorry loads of the stuff which was Elm. half of the loads I was just about able to split it with a large sledge hammer and a spike. Hence, I had to purchase this log splitter to deal with the other half and it did the job. And of course there are people that can not swing a 5lb to 10lb splitting axe.
