almost crash
i hope and i wish, this not will be happen to me......
By Hoang Doang 1204646078 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveInstead of trying to land a plane, pilot should have performed a go-around as soon as wind blown him off the middle of the runway for the first time. Trying to land a plane after this is very risky, even reckless. Go-around is a standard procedure in such weather conditions and there's nothing wrong with it. Pilot eventually performed it, but after all this risk...

By pablopatel 1211163632 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveGood Flying, as opposed to trying to land that one. Heavy crosswinds, almost ow. Great job saving that landing for later.
By Spickle 1205597048 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removevid of crosswinds taking on A-320
By s .murali 1204995896 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removegood thing the pilot had acted wisely... saved the passengers lives
By jayrene 1204819204 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removethats why i dont fly
By bobriggfilm 1204750713 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveIt landed safe by second attempt.
By dragon52 1204745871 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removethe pilot's mistake..whoever was doing the landin should hve flared the aircraft first then apply the rudders...on top of tht the pilot pulled to much on the stick tht caused the wind to hit the ground.
By broforlife 1204711400 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeare an absolute idiot and know nothing about being a pilot. please dont leave comments when you dont know what ur talking about.
By hybypass 1205171379 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis plane has a yolk not a "stick"
Perfect Commet
By Pendulum Media 1213226249 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removein the war, they used to land planes upside down, with no wings and they run out fuel 500 miles before the airport.
By beerwalla 1204695766 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removethe hell are you on about?
By Linuxman3 1215841649 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removemy dad, who is a pilot, has been through some tuff crap. where he flies, which is basically everywhere, some winds are unbelievably strong.
By Jetfreak16 1204674214 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removemy dad is a pilot too from singapore...but he's doing well....he had met even worst wind than this.....
By dintoya 1204689345 Reply Spam [-1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveAwesome Video!
I hope mine are that good.
the passengers must have been freaked out

By Atomic Shrimp 1204624408 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveHats off to the pilots.
By Doug_D 1204620893 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveAt this moment of approch it is very difficult to pull up again ... raise flaps, throtle etc... he had to wait for the right moment .. when the plane is on a straight position, because doing this on a 3/4 position in crosswinds at this height means crash. Good job ! 5 stars to the pilot and 5 for posting. Thanks
By Striker01 1204616882 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveIts just amazing............ This Pilot
By Highland Laddie 1204619291 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removehe adds power, puts the gear up and later raises the flaps..
no big deal to do.. it was the decision to do it that was the wise move..
dont know what you mean about a 3/4 position meaning crash... been a pilot for 20 years and never heard that phrase before...
it is quartering head wind and I'm guessing that he's implying that it is 3/4 of the way to a 90 degree cross wind
By Jeff in Lodi Wi 1204776320 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeflying into minneapolis/st paul during a thunderstorm. the side of the plane i was on you could actually see down the runway we were suppossed to be landing on. i fly a lot so i wasn't scared right away, but then i saw an old flight attendant who looked like she just pissed herself, that got me a little anxious. we bounced a few times on landing but everything ended ok.
By buzzthefuzz 1204606722 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeget 'caught' in a cross wind. You know they are there. You simply need to prepare your approach properly.
By Jeff in Lodi Wi 1204595874 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removewell considering there are such things as windshear and microbursts..you can be unaware of such winds...and also you can prepare as much as possible for an approach and still have to go around..these pilots are prob. more experienced than you are so i suggest if your going to make a comment about a pilot please research a little more or make a comment that makes sense like...hmm i wonder if that wind exceeded the x-wind limitation prior to arriving at that airport.
By hybypass 1204601505 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI would have thought that this Airport would have closed the Approach for all aircraft........ There must be a thing called safety first?? As you have mentioned the x-wind limitation.
By Highland Laddie 1204619100 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeglad i wasnt on that plane ! dont think id ever fly again,
By sheppo410 1204583864 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThanks to God that had shown the pilot the right way to move and had saved everyones life..
Great work my dear Pilot
