was no fault of his own, and the steering column, as far as i am led to believe, didn't break. The story was in a documentary where they explained what happened. They showed how the air under the car, which S**ks it to the road was cut off as he hit a bump/dip on the race track, which in turn lifted the car slightly, reducing the grip which is why he hit the wall so quick. They also said that the thing that killed him was the suspension arm going through his helmet and obviously hitting him on the head resulting in his death. I don’t know how many of you remember the uproar that Michael Shumacker had when he paid for a helmet that could withstand having a tank roll over it, but the F1 governing body wouldn’t let him wear it. Plz don’t take my word in all of this but this is what I read, watched and saw many yrs ago.

I know why he crashed, the steering column broke, and a tire hit him on the head and killed him.

Gosh..so long ago, though it seems like just yesterday. I miss Ayrton, as I know many others do..Bruno will emerge as his legacy and once again the Senna name will be winning and the Brasilian flag will be waving.

I don't see any humour in someone dying,but you just have to remember there are some real ignorant people roaming the earth still breathing priceless oxygen.
