    ...but to do that in an effective and tactical manner to distrupt a much larger force takes some talent.

    Let's say you have 8 seals going up against 50 men. You need to F**k those 50 guys up with suprise, firepower, and overall hell!! Make them think the entire army is attacking them insead of just 8 guys.

    It's about mind games and strategy, and they are trained in it. Try being 8 men alone in the middle of no where and try to survive. It will take lots of "training".

      It seems most believe this is what they really do. This is a dog and pony show video. They can call this what they want, but this is a retreat manuver and is to discourage an enemy from following. One of the key elements to the video happens in the first few seconds, the explosions and then a seal runs back from there under cover fire. They are laying booby traps for an advancing enemy and lay suppression fire to escape. They do not fire at near that rate of speed. Each time they stop to fire hopefully someone is laying a mine. The whole idea is to slow the enemy down enough to escape. As far as the SAS goes, give me a break. Those guys are awesome too. They are of equal quality and capability and I would not want to be either of their targets. Many of these teams along with the German teams train together. In the world of the best of the best, it probably would come up as a tie between the German, GSG-9 Teams, BUDS Also known as Seals to most, SAS and the Israeli Masaad. They all take care of business.

      thier would be no seals if wasn't for the sas, the sas are the special forces group which all others are based on. in more words than one they are the best hands down proven fact they have beat the odd's more times than seals have had hot dinners. so do your homework before u comment.

      ...a video like this will certainly not make any profound effects as far as "enemies" watching it. Theere have been many documentaries on SAS and Seals throughout the years and still they are the most elite military men in the world... no video is going to change that either.

    I see you guys sprogging on about this and that,the fact of the matter is SF troops are grouped under different banners,
    Obviously water operations are The SEALS focused area(SEAL Team 6 would however be the standout.),as is British SBS.
    Land operations CQB,Special recovery tasking is best left to Delta,British SAS and Australian SASR the Aussies very highly regarded by all in the SF community as probably the best all round small team operators in the world(but thats only my opinion),end of the day though,most decent SF operators I know don't go around chest beating who is the best...of course there are rivalries, bu8t at the end of the day results speak louder than words...cheers for your time.
