With the exception of the rally-bred evolution model, the last generation Mitsubishi Lancer was a pretty big disappointment; the product of a Japanese automaker on the decline. But thing appear to be changing at Mitsu: First they brought us an excellent new Eclipse, followed by a surprisingly effective second-gen Outlander, and for 2008, an all-new Lancer sedan that puts the previous model to shame.
