- From a transmission mechanic
  Easy outs don't work every time. Neither does this. BUt between the 2, you have a great chance of sucess. I have had to take a die grinder or rotary cut off tool and cut the head off, then take the item apart and remove the screw/bolt with pliers/vise grips after the body of the screw is exposed. You will also find that taking a BLUNT center punch and giving a few medium hits on the screw head will vibrate and loosen the screw/bolt internaly, makig it easier when you go to remove it. One other word. PB Blaster. Try your local NAPA.

I noticed...
Couldn't help but notice that the item with the stripped screw received some damage from the center punch. If you were working on an item that didn't belong to you, this would be the best solution. Good idea, though, and nice for items you own and don't mind slightly marring.

hit the screw head with a punch to unsieze the screw, the punch also reforms the screw head. mostly a problem with steel screws in alu casings

  Or cut a slot with a cutoff attachment on a dremel or similar rotary tool, and use a blade screw driver. Very often, if the screw is a being a pain in the ass to take out, using the method in the video wont work. You can deliver more torqe to a screw with a screwdriver, than you can striking the side of it with a hammer and punch.

it was damage because
you tried to exert force where the screw is stuck up. hit the screw head first with a metal object before unscrewing.

samething, but you had to drill into the screw for it to work and here you show how to do it for free. Now I feel dum. lol 5 stars
