  it still runs on gasoline.. it's real cool though, nothing sounds so angry as a souped-up wankel engine. too bad the reliebility S**ks ......

  you hafta consider the fact that very few automakers ever bothered with production runs. If the consolidated effort that piston engines recieved in developement were applied to rotaries, we'd probably all spend a LOT less on gas down the road... the engines used in the RX models were exceptionally reliable considering they were basically prototypes.
