I guess you overlooked all of the WMD's that the UN catalogued and locked up in Iraq before the Inspectors were kicked out in '99. The main reason we went back into Iraq was because the inspectors were kicked out in '99 and we knew that they had WMD's at that time. With Osama attacking us we couldn't sit back and hope that Sadam, who obviously hated the US, would keep his bundles of WMD's to himself. It's called common sense, which half of Europe and dictator loving elites don't have.

Even though the media brain-washed u into believing otherwise, Saddam asked the USA about pretty much any military actions he performed just incase the USA might attack him.
He probably asked them if he could attack Kuwait and probably got a big fat YES as an answer from Bush senior because it gave him a reason to increase their defence buget (make alot of money off the taxpayers) and attack a so called evil country for the sole purpose of making america's foreign policy look good even though it's a load of sh*t !!! Saddam probably was starting to loose his usefulness (wasn't trying to kill off his so called evil neighbour Iran so they found a different use for Saddam, and that's why they left him in power, because they could further trash him in the media as a diversion to whatever the US government was trying to hide from their citizens !!!)
Saddam was just a puppet, don't get me wrong Saddam was an evil dictator who used chemical weapons on the Kurds in Iraq and the civillian population of Iran but he isn't neccessarily to blaim for the Gulf War(s) ,more like the US Government who also sold him his chemical weapons to commit atrocities !!!
This is also why, when america charged Saddam with crimes against humanity that they could only charge him for killing a crowd of iraqi people who were near him when a failed assasination attempt was performed on him. They couldn't charge him for anything else because the US government was involved with everything else!!! BUSH, Donald Rumsfeld etc. are responsible for the crimes against humanity !!!! WAKE UP PEOPLE IT'S NOT ALWAYS AS THE MEDIA WOULD HAVE U BELIEVE IT!!! MOST OF THE MEDIA IS PROPAGANDA TO BRAINWASH THE SIMPLE-MINDED !!! DON'T BE THAT STUPID !!!
(and if u think people in government get found out when they do something wrong/evil, take bribes etc. well that's true and the media make a big fuss about it aswell but no-one really important get's found ou only a few guys down the line !!! And Bill Clinton, well he only got "done" for having an affair not all the terrible things that the public never found out about, they only found out about the good stuff !!! That's useless if you don't get to see the bigger picture which you'll never get in the media !!!)

Face it. Every 25 years or so there's a war. In between, weapons are stockpiled (and modernized)and children grow up to fight the next war.

you mean every 25 years tere is war in america. war is happening ALL of the time. look at africa. look at former yugoslavia. look at the middle east. its happpening all of the time. america just chooses battles that will in the end make the most profit.

i am over in balad, iraq,and i can tell you with 100% certainty that the phalanx cannon is used for missle defense, they are radar guided, shoot out and pretty much create a wall of iron for missles to hit and get destroyed before hitting main target. here we have modified them to shoot down incoming mortar rounds. looks awesome at night, like a line of orange streaking across the sky, then a huge explosion of light in the distance. but sounds like a circular saw is making it's way through your wall if you got a room within 200 meters of one! (which, me being the lucky guy i am, have one of those great rooms...)
