Typical liberal school management, we don't want to damage their little psyches with discipline. This teacher is damned if he does anything. He will be blamed for the outburst or blamed for concluding it. There is no answer until there is discipline restored to the classroom with police monitors, etc. When I was a kid this could not have occurred because every student above 3rd grade would have come to the aid of the teacher. There was never a question that any disrespect would be tolerated. And if the teacher was wrong you would have to take that up with your parents and the principal. There would be no time when students were allowed to confront or interrupt like this. And other students should have taken a stand verbally and with a threat of force.

This is typically liberal school management all over the western world now. Teachers are blamed if they have a disturbance and they are blamed if they do not control the class too. There really is no good answer until you put a disciplinarian in the classroom, could be a video camera with police monitoring from the school office, but the truth is that the best intervention is what we had when I was a kid. If this had happened in any grade from 3rd or 4th up, my teachers could have expected every student, even the girls to stand up for their defense.

this is taken in a dutch classroom. The kid is turkish and he is acting like most turks in Holland, overbearing, vulgar and tough.
