oh yeah
No matter that they are old, but i still think that Harrier, and A-10 are the best looking planes.

  The A-10s are awesome, i used to see them all the time until they were withdrawn and sent back to the USA as i live between Alconbury and the dual site Bentwaters and Woodbridge. Countryside is empty now without them.

I worked Harrier
I worked the Marine Harrier program for McDonnell from 1985-1989. The program doubled the payload and doubled the range vs. the British version.

I found drawings dating back to 1953 being used to build the thing... but who can argue with how great this thing performs.

A little known fact, the plane carries about 80 gallons of purified water on board - injected into the engine during high power, it cools the turbine and raises the mass thrust!

This plane is just wonderful!

I virtually built two of the four two seat t4/t8n conversions solo...fitted a majority of the mechanical systems at dunsfold aerodrome before it was shut down and used as test track for top gear on bbc2
