    Marvelous demonstration of the ritual of guard duty and the skill of the guards. Our own Tomb of the Unknown Soldier has well-trained soldiers walking guard duty. Both these Greek soldiers and our American Soldiers reflect the pride of our countries.

    Any greeks know why they do that? It looks like some sort of changing of the guard, but why all the pausing? It looks completely random, and yet they're doing it in unison.

      Well the pauses is not random at all, its part of the ritual.
      The uniform is a traditional uniform from the VERY old days (i dont remember the exact date).
      Their names are Tsolias and in plural is Tsoliades and they attract many tourist all year round.
      And i assure they re not freaks in any way.
      To be a such guy (they re well paid too) you have to meet some specific Requirements not many have.
      Also you should be like the army since its
      an army's branch.
      AND be VERY lucky to be chosen.
