Maybe she was a rookie cop caught up in the moment. I teach gun saftey, and she is obviously nervous. The only time your finger should be on the trigger is when you're ready to fire the weapon. The suspect was subdued, and looked to be no threat.

I don't agree with sexism at all. Let me get that straight first up.
BUT, there is a different between basic sexism and the fact that there are some roles generally best left to women and some best left to men.

Any woman happy with a male midwife? I know there's probably a lot of fathers-to-be with a problem.

In the same way, there are roles best suited for men. I'm NOT saying no woman should do them, don't get me wrong. But it is a statistic that female combat/ enforcement injuries are worse. NOT TO THE INJURED, but to those around.
For example, men & women both will tend to pause over the body of a female in combat, be it ally or enemy and this gives a stationary target to be hit, where they just pass a male corpse by.
This is my only issue with female law officers, but in today's society, how much more at risk are they than any highway road-rage victim? So I'm officially NOT saying one way or the other on female police.

Not inly did the woman lose her weapon to a killer another woman tried to lift a patient into the ambulance on a stretcher when she couldn't. This guy was dying and instead of assking for help because she couldn't do her job she kept on trying. If women want to do these jobs that's fine IF they can do them! That's a big IF!

You guys remember that video going around with that big, tough, black (no, race is not the issue) cop that was teaching gun safety to a classroom full of kids when unbeknownst to him his LOADED gun went off, just as he was explaining the importance of making sure the gun is EMPTY? He shot himself somewhere in the leg or foot and wobbled off.
This can happen to a man or woman, it doesn't matter that she's a chick cop.
In fact, my XBF who is STELLAR at gun safety was firing at the range and he didn't even have his finger on the trigger and it went off while he was talking to someone, holding it pointed down towards the ground and away from everyone's feet. Everyone made fun of him, but I saw it, his fingers were on the side of the gun, not even in the trigger area and it went off.

If a guy had done this, we wouldn't even be seeing this video. In fact, I worked at a sheriff's department for several years, and one of the officers who was helping put on a safety show at a local mall, accidently sot himself in the foot.
