We see a small clip where a guy passes out. And all you guys can talk about the president of america .. and how stupid you all think he is. Everybody has a comment about him .. so how about you guys leave it to the bush clips .. and not this one.

And one thing .. i don't think its a kneelock .. but one thing i learned in the danish royal army was to about every 10 mins stand up on your toas for one sec. if you don't you cut the blood ciculation in your ankel and will fait for lack of blood to your brain. No BS. (sorry for my bad english)

    • Actually

I looked into the reason this guy passed out and that’s not why he passed out, What happed was the guy was dehydrated and passed out because of lack of water in his system.

What I seem to be seeing here with the talk of President Bush and the war effort
is a whole bunch of Monday morning quarterbacks ... who dont seem to know
    their ass from their ear.
This war would have either been fought in the USA, or over there .... As for me,
I prefer it be over there.. some of you jerks seem to completely forget 911.
I think I will stop for now, before I get totally pissed.

  • Locking knees or not?

There are cases where you can faint sue to locking knees, yes. There are cases where its lack of salt or water... Given the heat these lads are up againt, I would say its probably not enough salt or liquids over the knees idea, however, going by one lad dropping from out of shot, none of us can be sure unless we had our hands on footage of him before teh drop, or his medical records, so lets not argue about it ok?

As for having to stand on parade, I am proud to say, that I was once able to stand for 6 and a half hours before i dropped, but that was in the english rain, this guy was standing in immense heat, its only a matter of time before at least one drops. If anyone calls him a P***y , then I pity you... You really dont have a clue do you?

  • It's hard, but that shouldn't had happen...

he was lacking fluids for sure, front line soldiers are highly trained and can pass 100km track with their equipment - sure they can stand for 1 hour... they soldier that fainted was lacking fluids or had a sun strike (I'm from Israel and that happens alot in the army here... locking knees? bulshit.)

    • you do not know what your talking about

as someone who used to train people in our american navy on the proper way to stand in ranks locking your knees does cut the circulation off to the arteries and the veins making it almost impossible for your heart to do its job. it will make you pass out and i highly doubt he was lacking fluids, these guys are trained to drink lots of fluids through out their day. and a change of command ceramony has a tenency to take upwards of 2 hours at some commands it depends on the rank of the person leaving and the rank of the person coming.

    • um

I have seen people pass out jsut like that in a air condetioned drill hall when they locked their knees. they had plenty fo fluied, were inside, adn it was around 70F in there. Not saying for sure this was not heat exaustion but I would bet on lack of blood flow being that it is more common.

  • I dunno

I was in Cadets a long time ago, we trained as if it we're a regular army. 12 years old. I was doing camp in Ipperwash when Mulroney was in Office and they had that standoff with the naitive americans. I duhnno, I was marching km's and sometimes jogging with 60, 70 pound back packs to my 100 pound frame. Learning about the modern riffles, ridding in Tanks. Standing and drill practice for a couple of hours. Well, today's cadets are allot easier now. Lemme tell ya, in my time by the time Kids turn 15-16, they were getting Arthritis in their knees. Immagine what happened when they turned 20. Yeah, ok, a little off topic but I hope it gives an idea of how hard soldiers train. And in army cadets, after parents started complaining and filing charges. The Officers that train these cadets have finnally clued in that Young bones wear out easier than adult ones.

    • and?

was there a point to your comment or did you just want to let us all know you were in the cadets?? I mean you trained like you were in the army when you were a teen and the guy in the video was in the millitary, so i kind of see the connetion. But still. . .

It´s really not easy to stand on parade for 1 hour, or even a lot more. The heat is terrible.
