Gah I hate it when people call it soccer... it's FOOTBALL... since you use your feet! ... unlike american "football" where you can go for ages without kicking the ball

You do realize that we have more than 200 million more people than Germany, the most heavily populated country in Europe. And with numbers like that, there is definitely going to be a higher number of obesity. Besides, elementary schools and high schools in the U.S. require all students to enroll in some type of physical activity whether it be gym or organized sports. But after school, the opportunity for sports almost disappears. The next step to take would be to work only 4 days a week and get a 3 day weekend. That would allow more time for household chores, mow the lawn, rake the leaves, shopping, whatever, then give an extra day to get together with friends and kick/throw a ball around. Face it, there isn't much time for that over here. Go to work early, get home late. Nothing left to do but eat dinner, read a book or watch T.V. and go to bed.

i agree with you on that..here it's always rush rush..no time for family and activity
