I think itÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ll be a good idea to have American kids playing soccer all the time. This will help overcome obesity in this freaking country. How come the majority of Europeans and south american kids are not fat? Because they play football at least 2 hrs per day, and they enjoy it. That is the way you loose weight by doing something you enjoy. Face it guys, soccer is a real sport. If you are not an athlete by the time you start playing soccer, youÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ll become one by your 40th game. Can you guys say the same for baseball or American football? Baseball players are fat for crying out loud, and that iswhy American kids that grow up playing this sport are fat too.

  You do realize that we have more than 200 million more people than Germany, the most heavily populated country in Europe. And with numbers like that, there is definitely going to be a higher number of obesity. Besides, elementary schools and high schools in the U.S. require all students to enroll in some type of physical activity whether it be gym or organized sports. But after school, the opportunity for sports almost disappears. The next step to take would be to work only 4 days a week and get a 3 day weekend. That would allow more time for household chores, mow the lawn, rake the leaves, shopping, whatever, then give an extra day to get together with friends and kick/throw a ball around. Face it, there isn't much time for that over here. Go to work early, get home late. Nothing left to do but eat dinner, read a book or watch T.V. and go to bed.
