    ok here for all the wanna be thieves: in spain what they do is they cut with a sharp knife the bottom of your backpack and then they only have to follow you from a few metters behind picking everithing that falls down. Back packs are great when trvelling for havinf an extra pullover or something to drink, maybe the tourist guide and a map but important stuff like the wallet and the cellular phone you carry it in the throusers front pockets and if you carry some money you put it in different places so if you get stolen by intimidation you always have something reserved in a sock or in diferent pockets (ofcourse then you forget about it and find that money when you got home and you don't need it any more, once i found some egyptian pounds in a jacket pocket and an other time australian dollars)
