During a road trip in British Columbia, I spent some quality time with a man who lived alone in an old apartment building. He explained to me that he and his wife split, and she wouldn't let him see his kids anymore. He sang us a song about missing his daughter, Caryoln's birthday.

I found it to be very touching.
