supercars are usually lighter than some normal cars also the aerodynamics of the supercars are almost always better than normal cars,the reason most people want supercars because they look and sound extraordinary,and they drive chicks wild unlike normal cars.thats why they are worth so much.Also people are usually annoyed to see a tacky looking noisy hot hatch and usualy think the driver is an attention seeker,meanwhile in an aston martin,u can be an attention seeker and everyone will like you.Thats the difference.1/4 mile times realy dont mean much because they involve you murdering the gearbox to get a fast time and also to get a normal car as fast as a enzo for example requires mods but some of which may not be street legal or cause the car to have problems idling in traffic,making them unpractical,meanwhile aston martins and lambo murcielagos can take the everyday pressures of traffic and because they are not suped up,where a whole lot of power is extracted from a small engine,they are less likely to break down than a highly modded fiat.

cos they get owned by a whatever! ford,fiat,ect
then the supercar owner gets to say that a NORMAL car beat the S**t out of them

i seen a "fiat 50" pop wheelies and own lambos and rarries and for nothing of the price tag, name any supercar and you could build something for 1/5th the price and out drag it.

supercars are for the point of what it was basiclly made
for (a road going track car) though the fiat 50 out draged ALL supercars there that day by 4 seconds on the 1/4 mile put them on the track and there's a differant story.supercars are made for ALLROUND proformance and status
