I know some people who are friends of these hunters. The reason they were killing the lion is because the lion had previously killed two men and was considered a problem lion. I love to hunt and a lion is the ultimate prize. Its called dangerous game for the sole reason that they may turn around and kill you. If lions are not managed properly you will be able to watch more shows on national geographic about these "human killers". This occurs because their populations get to large and people are constantly encroaching into there natural habitat. Lets be reasonable, either we kill lions that may pose a threat someday to human populations or we kill the human population that may pose a threat to lions. With the lack of birth control in Africa and the constant support we give them i think the latter of the first option is the most acceptible.

First of all you need to be about two cans short of a six pack
upstairs, to want to kill an animal like that. The hunting guide needs to find another
profession due to lack of control and serious mistakes. After the first shot they should of stayed where they were and not ran to take another shot. This is probably what made the
lion charge. To be a big game guide you better be a crack shot under pressure. The guide should of immediately taken control and put the cat down as soon as it charged. I am not sure if anyone was killed or injured but you had a lot of people in each others crossfire. Another example of lack of control by the guide. If no one got seriously injured they need to thank the man above.
