The Shake Flashlight Shaker is a whimsical invention of mrfixitrick. The Tesla CD Turbine is featured driving a magnetic coupler, which has a connecting rod attached between it and the magnet inside a shake flashlight. This causes the flashlight to light when faucet water pressure is supplied to the CD Turbine. A second shake light can be charged by placing it in proximity to the first. The Tesla CD Turbine is a named after the great inventor Nikola Tesla, who invented and patented the first Tesla Turbine about a hundred years ago. His turbine was special in that it used only discs instead of the blades or cups in a normal turbine. The discs turn because the fluid transfers energy to the discs, from adhesion and the boundary layer effect, in it's spiral flow from nozzle to centre outlet. My Tesla CD Turbine is unique in that it has no shafts, bearings, or seals, and it's power is transmitted by a magnetic coupling. It is made from recycled CD's, CD box, a nozzle, supermagnets, and glue. It runs on water pressure or compressed air.
