  • Real video, wrong commentary.

    I've read numerous idiots here say this "is not in Japan" or "this is a fake".

    It's been shown on numerous documentaries, as well as the World's Most Amazing videos (as shown here with poorly detailed commentary). I assure you it WAS filmed in Japan by a team of scientists and journalists. 43 of them were killed, including Katia and Maurice Krafft, and Harry Glicken. It was created by the collapse of one of lava domes building upon the volcano.

    How do I know this? I saw the documentary on Discovery, a video in class (currently studying volcanoes in Natural Disasters), the video here, as well as on the Wildest Videos show, and I'm currently doing a research presentation on Mt. Unzen.

    Other than this, don't trust me on anything I think I know I'm talking about, as I'll probably be wrong... xD

    I can´t belive all experts´stupid comments about whether a video clip is fake or not. How would they know anyway...? Surely this is NOT fake, "marlbro" was right about mount Unzen! How do I know..? I googled... :-) Try that one next time, all you "experts"..!

      So no, he did NOT audit for anything, except maybe a chance to kick you in the nuts. If you only guess based upon a fragment of the clip, maybe you should dive into the basic information of it before you comment.

      Did you not hear the phrase "...mountains of japan" at the beginning of the clip? It seems like its placement there would belie the fact that the volcano is in JAPAN. Do you like making stuff up?

      it was not in japan, it was in a fairly un-advanced area where they had to bring american scientists to warn the locals (i don't see this happening in japan). Plus, it was near a very big american air base (the biggest outside of US i think) and there are none of those in Japan. that dope might sound wise but he made a mistake. around 100 people were killed too (mountain dwellers who worshipped the mountain, none of those in Japan)
