The people are wonderful and enjoy making a liveing for their families. I look foward to going back to my family their and visit for long periods. No I am not Chinese but love their culture, always a pleasure to be in their company and enjoy their way of life.

The video forgot one thing, most of Nikes shoes are made by children kept in internment, imprisoned by the factories where the shoes are manufactured. Most come from Thailand. the Chinese government also trafficks young girls throughout the world to corporations for slave labor. Yes even in America, you don't have to go overseas, hjust go to the garment district in New York, girls as young as 8 have been found working 18 hour shifts.

What gets me is people like Micheal Jordan. Who has enough money to be considered upper class for a dozen life times. Yet he and other sports stars promote Nike and like cooporations, when it wouldn't cause them to go bust at all if they raised there wages a bit.
I think these sports stars need to see what is going on and stand of for the living conditions of fellow human beings instead of standing up and speaking up for there second or third home.

Here is a considerable solution.

If you think about it should only take about a half hour to an hour of man time to make a pair of shoes. That is 10-20 shoes per worker a day.
If some sort of fair wage agreement was assigned and gave these people an extra $5/day the consumer would only have to pay and extra quarter or 2 on a pair of shoes and these people would have their wage increase massively.
Heck I'm sure people would pay $10 more for shoes if it meant increasing the standard of living around the world.

because they have NOTHING else. when you got nothing , you are greatfull for what every penny you get. every" sweatshop" you shut down, many families go hungry for a long time. yes they work hard for their 10 cents an hour. but 10 cents is worth 10 dollors in the USA. so leave them the F**k alone & let them make a living for their families. funny thing, i have never heard a worker complain yet. in fact all i hear is greatfulness.

Well One day at my CHICAGO Public school. Our crackhead teacher told us to do a project on logo's. She told us to make something like a science fair bored. Well Some Crazy kid brings a bored to school which has the Nike sign on it and a man holding a gun to his head saying just do it. Ooh did I mention the kid also brought a gun
