I have done 300 kph quite a few times in my 911 Turbo and passing truks going at 100 kph is like .... WOW! and this video just doesn't have that speed sensation....

That is about 70 MPH/110KPH max; and I never seen a ZZR600 that could do 275KPH. Also, at 300KPH it takes a long time to get back to 50KPH - and I doubt you would redline it....

look at the surroundings, there is no way that bike is doing 300mph or kph. by the looks of it , its doing around 70. stuff would be flyinig by way faster.

Im portuguese and i know this video is fake. 3 REASONS:
first, this video was not captured in portugal( i know)
second its not difficult to see he doesnt get more than 150 kph(about 90 mph)
and third there is no copmmercial car or bike that goes up to 300mph, so the only lie could have here it was 300 mph(180 mph) and like i said it before, this cannot be true also.

even the y2j, wich is the fastest, street leagal bike in the world, doesen't pas 400km/h, and 300mp/h is like 480 km/h..... and no way even a drag ace car would reach 300mp/h that fast

after racing both topfuel dragbikes and gp in the past, i have experienced more than 260mph on a bike many times and that doesnt even come close!

Pay attention to the speedometer, (it obvoiusly Km/h, But we'll show proof of that). Below it, who would have 'thunk' Theres an odometer. At 29sec. into the clip. When he is traveling Approx. 280 "units of speed" his odometer reads 133.8. after one unit of "distance" the time is now 44 sec. A 15 second duration of travel. But jsut to be on the safe side, lets say the the odometers increase wasnt the "tenth of a distance unit" but even a "whole unit". lets assume it is kilometers. At an average he travels approx .666 km/sec which is through conversion 600 m/s ....twice the speed of an average bullet. So we can be sure that we are reading "tenth" incriments.

Now..... 1 Km or even "unit" persay in 15 seconds.
Average speed Distance/time 1km = 1000m 1000m/15seconds 66.6m/s little conversion for you folks out there, 1602meters in a mile (or 1609 i always forget, but tis negligable ) 3600 seconds in an hour and for those physics people its simple. [66m/s * 3600s/h ] / 1602m/mi 148miles per hour.

Firstly, I believe it is Europe which with the exception of the UK, measures speed in KPH. It could be 300 KPH, my car does 240 and has done on the de-restricted sections of the Autobahn, so for quite a few of the bigger bikes out there, no problem, especially the busa! However, 300 KPH does equal 187.5 MPH (Divide KPH by 8 then times by 5 to get MPH). I have watched a lot of Ghostrider stuff and that man is AMAZING! He even pulls wheelies on his busa at 200MPH - yes, MPH!! That isn't up for debate, go to his site of look for his videos online, its there for all to see. Having watched his stuff, I can say that the speed this guy is getting up to doesn't seem to be that fast, but maybe that's the quality of the video?

Ok I did a search because I know that any bike topping 180mph is going to be a Busa or a ZX14. So i found that the guages match a Kawi ZX9R almost perfectly. SO if in fact this bike is a ZX9R, then the top speed should be around 170mph. And if in fact this is the case then the only way a bike of that size could top it's speedo out would be to have different sprockets or gears. And If that's the case, I wouldn't imagine that bike going over 160mph at the most when you correct for it. Just my observations......

Come to Portugal and we teach to ride a bike. This road its a secondari road it go from 25April Bridge to Costa Caparica beach. And this is normal, all the ones that have doubts its because dont have balls to ride on this speeds.

Actually I know this bit of highway near Lisbon, it's one of the most well known places to try your car or bike because it's slightly downhill . And the guys who actually KNOW bikes can confirm the acceleration times (0 to 100 km/h in 4 secs, etc.) and understand it's quite feasible.

I am in no doubt. Course it wont do 300MPH, but it will do 300kph (188mph), remember the Japanese manufacturers had a gentlemens agreement to limit the bikes to 186mph, give or take small error. Unrestricted they may go slightly more. And even the ZX10 does over 100mph in 1st gear. Knowing my Kawasakis I am sure its a ZX12 (a ZX9 wouldnt do that speed, a ZX10 has a digital speedo).

My GSXR has a chip and NOS on it and i did 340 km/h on full throtle but i think it's impossible to take that curve with 300 km/h, period (too tight). I'm sorry to say that but from my experience that guy was under 250 km/h

Just as an fyi that in not a moter cycle that is a ferraie 360 spider. The way i can tell is because it at one point hits its or reving stage wich is when the engin revs really high and get extreamly high pitch a moter bike has a govener on it so it wont over rev because you are sitting on the engine. If it blew up from over reving it woulf kill the driver

There is a video ive seen a while back where a person went up to 199 mph, or at leat believing so. It didnt quite hit the 200 Mph mark but it took a while for him to get there so im guessin its real.

Theres no way thats MPH it may well be KM/H which works out to 186MPH but even still I dont think you could corner and negotiate traffic at that speed because the front end of the bike would be very light. Also bike speedos driven by a cable aren't that accurate anyway

ok here is y i think hes not going 300 MPH. first of all. the lines on the road would be solid, ive done and watched alot of track races here in california and the candy cane markers you see on the side are always solid passed 125mph, plus you cannot make that first turn without going wide doing 300mph not even the stickiest tires can support a bike at those speeds

the road film and the tach/rev-counter are two different films. If you notice during acceleration or deceleration there is not a big difference in the lines on the road travelling or in the overtake of other vehicles, sometimes no difference at all. I take the Thallis regularlyfrom Brussels to Paris and back....Beleive me 300 km/ph goes much faster, for not saying 300 M/ph. (480 km/ph) but that's a wrong titel description I suppose.
