Surprisingly High level radiation from Vintage Soviet / USSR Night Scope but only when it is switched on. It operates with a small battery and is scanned using a sensitive GammaRae Scintillating Radiation Detector. The radiation levels from this nightscope may be gamma but could also be xray, So if you could enlighten us please do.

More on this Radiation detector can be seen in my other video's showing radioactive watch dial readings from a vintage Mervin Military watch and a gas lamp mantle.
Thank you for watching and please feel free to comment

  • High level radiation shown on a Gammarae

This video shows a very alarming level of radiation from a nightscope. I was stunned by how much this scope puts out when switched on. Watch the GammaRae Pager push out over 200 counts per second
