not so sure It works with every system..
After doing this on my windows xp pro emachines desktop with Comcast High speed Internet it wen down in both uplload and download.

19300 kbps to 17732 kbps DL speed

2241 kbps to 2027 kbps UL speed

Note if it comes up like this you CAN change it back, it is reversible.
