  • Bad towing technique

    First off the vehicle is not secured and can bounce off the pins. This technique can also result in damage to the vehicle. I know first hand when a vehicle of mine was stolen using a rig like this, they destroyed the transmission because it was a 4x4 locked in 4x4 when it was parked. They also put a hole in my auxiliary fuel tank. When you stop the vehicle can slid forward slamming the tow rig into undercarriage parts, like a second fuel cell located where the spare tire lives.

    These rigs are cheap and dirty quick grab setups only used by repossession people and car thieves. No honest towing company would use them because they damage cars.
