Be told! Behind every war, there are plenty of people profiting from it. Welcome to capitalism!

    • regardless of why we are in iraq

if these profiteers are overbilling the taxpayers, they should be held accountable, and charged for the treason they are responsible for, the corporations assets siezed, and companies dissolved. Who will investigate this? the next President will be appointed soon, help us GeorgeO.

      • Treason

        n
        1. betrayal of country: violation of the allegiance owed by a person to his or her own country, for example, by aiding an enemy. See also high treason
        2. treachery: betrayal or disloyalty
        3. act of betrayal: an act of betrayal or disloyalty
Sounds suspiciously like voting 97 to 3 in the Senate, and overwhelmingly in the House of Representatives for a war. Then claming you were deceived, didn’t vote for it, or it was in some way illegitimate. Trying to de fund the war while the troops are in the field. And giving aid and comfort to the enemy in the press, and while overseas. A regular plethora of Benedict Arnolds. All the while wrapping themselves in a blanket of patriotism.

With the Moore-on's controlling the House and Senate, get serious.

            • Man, you're dumb!

They have control because they have one more seat than the republicans. Just under half of them are still republican. And they still have to respect them. It must be strange for you to live in a world where everything is so simple.

            • I guess you are dumb too

Congress is the one handling and paying for the war. Bush and or the President can go to war but the rest is by our Congress.

          • Sure the war sucks, but....

George Bush IS NOT A TERRORIST!! Sure the war sucks, but the US had every right to invade Iraq to get Saddam Hussein - he was a dictator, and a terrorist, and no one else in the United Nations had the balls to do it. I don't like the war either, but it's got to be finished. We started it and we have to finish it.
