It was a sad case to watch, even more so when the whole twin suffered brain damage from complications after surgery.

that child had not long to live. The twin was most likely stressing her heart and lungs since it had none. At times like those, although it's terribly cruel to cast away the other twin like that, you have to do what you can to save the other child.

There was no chance for the other twin, so they acted as fast as possible to save the one that had a chance. Also, this short clip gives little insight into the parents and surgeons exact feelings towards the other twin. Although the narrator reffered to it as a parasite (which, technially it was), it doesn't mean that everyone thought of it the same.

Not everyone in this world can survive, so unfortunately you have to put some before others in order to keep the ones with more opportunity in life alive.

Both of these children are human beings. Last night while watching this documentary, I found myself wondering how someone could just say that the other twin was not human. I began to wonder if the parents of these two children even gave the other one attention while she was still alive. People can be so ignorant to say the other was only a Parasite!
