Janell Weinstein is a family law attorney who earned a J.D. in 1991 from Hofstra University School of Law and a B.A. from Rutgers University, Douglass College in 1988. Weinstein's areas of practice include family and matrimonial law, including divorce, child support, alimony, custody, post-divorce judgment matters, domestic violence, domestic partnerships and pre-marital agreements; real estate law, purchase, sale and refinancing issues. She also specialized in other areas of civil litigation.

She is a Barrister for the New Jersey Family Law Inns of Court. She was previously an Early Settlement panelist for the Family Part, and a panel member for a matrimonial seminar conducted by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.

Weinstein has appeared as a guest commentator for Court TV n/k/a TruTV, as well on Sirus Satelite Radio, and the U.K.'s "GMTV." She is a volunteer at the Women's Rights Information Center in Englewood, New Jersey.
