Utah is back home with their solid 35-4 record against the Nuggets in a fight for a playoff spot. The Jazz put together solid defensive efforts in their wins against San Antonio Spurs and New Orleans. The Jazz needs home court because when you lose to the likes of Minnesota and New Jersey in 2 of your 4 last road games you cannot win in the playoffs without home court. I know a lot of Jazz fans don’t like to believe this nor do they like hearing it but heading into Thursday’s action the Jazz are 17-22 away from Salt Lake. Denver is a very poor defensive team and with Boozer and Okur down low and at home for the Jazz the Nuggets behind Carmello and company will find things tougher around the basket. Utah will find things easy on offense against this bad defense and the crowd and momentum will be pro Utah. Take Utah –6.
