This video features My Gorilla Videos early work with i25Shoppingmall.com & a dance group called “No Mo Violence”. This Dance group is a great organization, designed to keep urban youths from getting involved in crime. Cathy Maestas founded the “No Mo Violence Dance Culture” in the early nineties, after her son was shot & killed for his jacket in Denver. Her goal is to keep kids involved with various dance styles, not limited to but including, traditional Mexican folk dance & hip-hop/break dancing. Her pupils must sign an agreement to be uninvolved in drugs, gang activates, & general criminality. The agreement also bids them to a completive schedule that keep the children busy, with travel & Dance.
