  Why were you in a boat, near him ? I'm sure your boat was more aggressive for the crocodile than it for you. Did you need to go with a boat where he was living ? He was just defending its territory. You are the biggest predator. It's a very known tactic (use by the stalinians for example) : to accuse the others to do the same thing than you. In french, we have a proverb : "who wants to drown his dog, accuses it to have got rabies".

  Childer fish the banks of that lake. The gator is great at hunting things on the bank. The state had those men remove it not us. If your child wasw in it's mouth being eaten alive would you not think, hey maybe we should have got rid of it! Think about it!

that looks to be the human way to put the gator under. Doesnt look like much suffering. the movement of his legs was just nerves. gators are like snakes they have movements hours after they die.. good job, iwould to know my child could of been fishing in that pond with that gator there

While working at a zoo I've caught and relocated gators up to 15 ft long. This is dangerous and takes skill. I guess if you are not willing to take the risk, or don't possess the skill, it is easier just to shoot it.

I know gators can get very big and dangers but did they really have to kill it? Its just looking for food that is what they do, I don't believe gators go hunting for the fun of it. It also looked like these guys were having alot of fun killing the gator.

  Did you read the first part? This gator was attacking people! That's why it was permitted to be killed. You can't just go kill a alligator. It's illegal! Also they send the meat to restaurants to be eaten.
