Located on an 8 million acre nature preserve Roosevelt River Lodge is located at the falls where Teddy Roosevelt camped when he went on a voyage of discovery in the Amazon Basin in the early 1900's. The fishing is magnificent and recently an unknown species of mamal was found in the very same jungle. Canopy viewing trips 100 feet up in the jungle are available. This is as remote as you will find on the planet.
