lets see him try it on a human!
funny thing is they only found the jacket of the projectile. they mentioned they used an armor piercing projectile in the clip... AP usually means a STEEL core. so where did that bad boy go? anyone care to comment on that? i say if they tried that with a person in the pool they would b looking at a homicide case myself.

The .50 BMG is an extremely POTENT round. To say that it achieves 3000/fps is a relatively mild assertion. It will certainly penetrate most forms of armor and it is extremely accurate and "effective" out to 1000 yards.

What about FMJ bullets?
They were using quick expansion bullet? That would mushroom and shatter in the water. Just out of curiosity, what if they were using Full Metal Jacket Bullets?

That was the M81A1 sniper from Barrett corp. firing the 0.50 cal BMG (Browning Machine Gun) round. The M95 rifle is almost identical except for a shorter and bulkier stock due to it's bullpup design.

  lonewolf is correct it is an armalite ar-50 bolt action sniper rifle they also make a magazine fed bolt action in .338 lapua.
