that's a nice vid. I really love these kind of martial arts sports, especially because I am a competitor in MMA, which by the way is a great sport for self defending. It's true you will have to honor every martial arts and not just you own sport. I my self just can't be without respecting any man who can do even decently in any of these kind sports, like MMA, Thai boxing, boxing, jujitsu etc.

Muay Thai has to be one of my favorite styles of martial arts. Just the speed and power that they put into their moves is extreme. Their training exercises are intense, too. Basically when doing kicking drills, they kick this pad that's hard as a rock! You'd probably get more cushioning kicking a cement wall with an inch of newspaper on it.

Just remember, the elbow doesnt have that much power behind it. The only reason why they use it is because this style is more meant for short range attacks. That, and they integrate jumps into their attacks, giving it more force. Same with their knee attacks.

Grr... too bad there isnt a Muay Thai place close to me ~_~

it's not a bad technique to use wouldn't you say!? i could use the frist scene coz it's simple. and also that upper cut thing...
but yeah, you can't always rely on karate, judo or any martial arts. but it may always come in handy. afterall, it's better than nothing. He he he.
i don't fight though... and i don't plan to. the reason is that i almost killed someone when i fight at school. =(
it wasn't my fault he was running towards me so when i kick him on the head, i guess his brain was shaken... i feel sorry for that guy.

now i see him and he's taller than me ... me scared now. hehehe.

so what illegal move? punching on the crouch? or strangling someone? biting??? define illegal moves? is it throwing rocks on the opponent or using guns or knives?

anyway, i like the technique they use here... simple but effective. looks easy to do too... wouldn't u say?
