In the 70's I went to a Bottemless Bar is Los Angeles. The dancer used a Python as a prop. After her dance (she was on a elevated stage about 2 feet off the floor) she started talking to one of the guys in the front row. Another guy, after lighting a cig. got the idea of lighting the snakes tail! The snake lunged at the face of the poor guy just talking with the gal and got its' teeth embedded in the mans face from upper nose to chin.
