can the ps3 redeem ff's reputation
For all true ff fans 10-2 & 12 were the lamest releases in the series and the story lines have all gone down hill since square soft became square enix, the in game graphics have inprooved with the platform but since ff8 the series has lost its edge.

Half of that is CGI
I can tell the CGI from the realtime in that..... most of the first half is CGI, the fights are real time.

- it's purposefull
  everything looks CGI purposefully. the games public relations director, kakuko obinata, stated "the fact that people have a hard time telling the difference makes us proud in that we've created a system that can produce graphics on par with CG."
  
  Square Enix even created a special graphics engine specifically for this, called white engine, that will push real tiem gameplay in full CG quality graphics.

  Most people who have ever played a final fantasy know what parts are real and what parts are movies. to me i didnt see a switch the whole way through and makes me think this is going to be one of the best final fantasys ever
