One of the most unoriginal and lame videos you ever made. I won't rate it only because in the past you made some very good videos.
How about wrapping rubber bands on the outside of the wheels to give them grip?
I have heard Duct Tape can fix (almost) anything! Well it fixed this problem! All you have to do is stick some duct tape around the wheels.
...glued on the wheels does a very good job too.
would only slide when on pavement
I made one of these in grade 7!
Except I was in early grade 8 (which I'm still in) and ours wasnt in a kit and was more "hillbilly-ish".
the mousetrap had a needle, it was for punching a small hole in the cartridge.
The car went very fast, and crashed into the curb, sending bits od basswood everywhere.
Kip. Use basswood instead od balsa, its much stronger, and use a bigger mousetrap.
Ps. You must live pretty down south, i saw clear skies and palm trees.
But it is too small. I have to power a track!
With all of us on it. Cinco de Mayo is about to come!
i made one to, but we made ours out of sheet metal. and those things cranked. our teacher even let us make a ramp to jump them. ahhh the good old days.
I made one in grade 10.!
mount your explosion engine to it, just don't forget the marinara sauce. 5*'s and a chuckle from a memory if me ol' pinewood derby days back in the BSA.
i was thinking the same thing!!
i had to make one of those, but mine had to launch a ping pong ball on to a target that was twenty feet away, it was a pretty fun project
Those are so thin, they probably have SO little friction on the ground... excellent for this kind of project.
But I kept waiting till it was way down the road and exploded! 5*
try to get a Rc remote and try to get it to the back wheel and you will get yourself a mousetrap powered RC!
and your life will be perfect. I admire you for your skills. It's a wonderful gift from above. Hare Krishna.
great job Kip always enjoy your vids.
a car to drive over it when he zoomed in at the end lol , Hey kip where's your cats ? was lookin out for them. Cool video but i was expectin it to go faster than that, maybe a change in wheel surface or stronger strength of mousetrap would maked it go faster
Great presentation and always fun to see when they don't work the first time. 5 Stars!
not "working pretty good" lol good vid tho
I kinda gotta agree with ELVIS52... no offense but your videos are kinda getting boring doing these little kiddie projects... i miss your old videos a lot. You can also see that your making less money then you would normally make, which would be in the thousands... =(
completely.
How many mousetraps would it take to power my Infiniti? Yo, Adria-a-an!
You speek on the floor, this is a not bad way
For this one you have to pay back the mony:)
Mousetrap cars :)
Mine won the school comp ^^;
and why does this matter
i learnt this in school
Nice piece of work. Got a chuckle out of me a couple of times!
this is pretty neat
one of those monster sized rat traps! I might even hear a tire bark. :) 5 stars from me Kip! Good stuff.
